getting culture(d).

my sister’s visit to atlanta last weekend was just what i needed to settle back into the spring semester. her presence made the unusually cold temperatures feel a little warmer, the cafeteria food taste a little better, and my dorm room feel a little cozier.

i could meticulously chronicle our every touristy moment, but some were less notable than others–that is, aimlessly wandering around the perimeter of the georgia dome doesn’t quite lend itself to blogging. our meals, on the other hand, deserve their very own post. from biscuits to shrimp and grits to sticky coffee pudding and sweet potato ice cream, we sampled some of the very best this city has to offer.

but but but, that post will have to wait.

instead i’m sharing some of my favorite shots from the high museum of art, where we did some serious multitasking. on our to-do list? walk off our brunch and culture ourselves simultaneously. we did a good job, and i even managed to snap some photos, too. are you impressed?

here are just a few of my favorites.
