when 1.5 inches of snow got me three straight snow days (and a whole lot of stir crazy hours indoors) a few weeks back, friends and i decided it was only appropriate to do something fun and different off campus.
enter cabbagetown, a little neighborhood on the east side of atlanta.
cabbagetown is know for its krog street tunnel, which connects the neighborhood to inman park and boasts some seriously impressive street art/graffiti/tags. ultimate newbies that we are, we decided to pick up a couple cans of spray paint at michael’s and head over to the tunnel for some artsy fun.
that’s right, we did it…
others did it better, though, clearly.
after leaving our marks, it was time for a leisurely break on a nearby bench…
but soon our stomachs were rumbling and we found ourselves wandering down the street for some sustenance. we stumbled into the ever-quaint carroll street café for sandwiches and salads. my apologies for no foodie pictures from the meal.
two and a half weeks later and i am still marveling at the fun adventure we had. happy i was able to tag along (aha!) with such good company.
