as per usual, a little look inside life’s recent moments:
picnic. olives, bread, and raw veggies (pictured above) — essential components of a monday night picnic in the park. a friend and i pooled whatever leftovers we came across in our kitchens, laid out the goods on blanket in the grass, and feasted. our findings included leftover salads, shrimp/scallop cakes, hummus, and an apple/watermelon/blueberry mixture for a healthy dessert. summer eats at their finest.
run. i started a recent busy weekend with a friday afternoon run along the hudson river. the perfect way to begin the end of the week.
touring. i happily played tourist for the weekend as i hosted a best friend from LA. an obligatory nighttime stop at the steps of the metropolitan museum of art was in order…
…as was a trip to brooklyn heights, where the brownstones make your jaw drop and drool drip. not that i’m jealous or anything.
campus. the columbia university campus is a sight to be seen, especially on a warm july evening, like the one captured above.
ah, summer. enough said.
