BREAKFAST: Cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread topped with Trader Joe’s raw, creamy almond butter, banana + strawberry coins. In bed.
LUNCH: A killer lunch combo from Souper Jenny’s in Decatur, GA — tomato soup with a side salad of green beans / sundried tomatoes / roasted potatoes / creamy mozzarella + a cookie + an apple.
DINNER: I recently got to hear chef/owner Linton Hopkins talk about his “good food philosophy” and the importance of supporting local food producers at his wildly successful Buckhead restaurant, Holeman & Finch. Though H&F is especially famous for its meats — in fact, the double cheeseburger used to be rationed out to customers, with only 24 of them served each night — I sampled their veggie options on account of my current stint as a pescatarian.
Above: glazed ‘n roasted carrots caramelized to perfection and topped with a green sauce, crunchy pistachios, and fresh herbs. Plus, a roasted-’til-crispy head of cauli topped with creamy lemon hollandaise sauce + caper berries. Both unbelievably delicious and satisfying.
